Former Australian Prisoner Partners With Former Guard to Become Porn Stars
by Jo Ellen Nott
They came from opposite sides of the bars in prisons down under and now are “royalty” in Australia’s porn industry. The improbable partnership of adult film stars Dale Egan, 31, a former prisoner, and Isabelle Deltore, 40, a former guard, began when they met through a producer and discovered they had both spent time in prisons.
Deltore, who hails from Melbourne, is an adult film superstar and two-time winner of Miss Nude World. Before her success as a porn actress, Deltore was a social worker employed in juvenile detention facilities before she started working as a guard in a maximum-security prison. She remembers her days with juveniles as the most dangerous, while when working at an adult prison it was other guards whom the diminutive actress most feared. But it was not the lack of support from fellow guards that made her quit. At age 29 she finally grew weary of being catcalled by prisoners and co-workers, and she began considering other career choices.
Deltore began to work as a ‘secret stripper’ to earn money while she looked for new employment. But when she discovered OnlyFans, a subscription internet service popular with sex workers and their clients, she realized she had found her calling. Deltore said she was able to earn in one night on OnlyFans what she would make in two weeks at the prison. After that, the decision to leave guard work was easy.
Egan grow up on Australia’s Gold Coast with a “good upbringing thanks to his great mum,” but he battled depression. As his mental health issues spiraled out of control in his teens, Egan began using drugs. The tough guy was tamed after his 2015 arrest for a home invasion. At 25 years old, Egan went to prison for four and a half years.
After his release, he had to borrow money to eat, pay rent and buy gas. With limited options available to him, Egan decided to try OnlyFans, too. He started from zero and built a fan base by following similar content creators overseas. After several months, Egan began to amass a following, helped by girls he knew who were already on the platform and TikTok. He is now in the top 0.2% of content creators on the site.
“I make good money, more than the prime minister’s salary last year,” Egan said. “For someone who left school at 14, I’m pretty proud of myself.”
When a producer introduced the two Aussies, they clicked over their pasts in prisons. In a lucrative partnership they combined their respective OnlyFans audiences by producing videos which skyrocketed them into the top 0.1% of the platform. The ex-prison guard and ex-prisoner have not discussed producing prison-themed content, but Deltore admitted to Daily Mail Australia “maybe that’s something we will do.”
